I'm your host at this unique experience at a charming, rustic castle nestled in the enchanting Italian countryside. Join me on this journey where I unveil the secrets of creative food photography. I'm originally from Sweden but based in Paris since 13 years ago, the City of Light, where my photographic journey began 13 years ago. Today I work with various brands such as Le Creuset, Carrefour and Ankarsrum.

I love sharing my knowledge and my skills and I'm regularely invited by different brands to host webinars and I also have a YOUTUBE-channel where I share Food Photography tutorials. My work has been supported and recognized by many brands and today I am proud to say I am a Nikon Europe Ambassador, Adobe Photoshop Ambassador, Calibrite Ambassador and BenQ Expert.

My biggest inspirations are Old Masterpainters like Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci and Vermeer, I love how they play with the light and shadows in their paintings and the technique, chiaroscuro, is something I like to replicate in my work. But I also like to go into details and explore fruits and vegetables with my macro lens but most and foremost I want to evoke emotions with my images.

I have dreamed of finding a unique place where I can gather a small group of enthusiasts as myself for an immersion in Food Photography. After lots of research I finally found a beautiful rustic castle in the Italian countryside that would be the perfect setting for our Masterclass. With a group limited to a maximum of 6 participants, this will be an intimate Masterclass, where I will unveil my knowledge and expertise.

The Venue

Nestled amidst the Oltrepo Pavese and Piacenza hills, this extraordinary location instantly captivated my heart. It brings me immense joy to offer you the exclusive opportunity to experience a stay in this enchanting castle during our Masterclass journey.

The owner's meticulous selection of handpicked objects has infused the castle with an ambiance that effortlessly transports you to a past era, evoking a sense of nostalgia and embarking on a timeless journey.

Within this idyllic setting, a picture-perfect and rustic kitchen awaits, providing you with the ultimate backdrop to capture captivating food photos. As you wander through the magnificent garden, be prepared to be mesmerized by the breathtaking views of the rolling hills that stretch into the distance, adding an extra touch of allure to your stay.

HOW TO GET THERE:

Closest airport is Milano Linate. You can either rent a car and drive (85 km) 1 hour 20 minutes. There is free parking at the castle.

TRANSFER is included from Milano to the castle. Together with those participants that choose this option you will be picked up together and taken to the castle (1 1/2 hours by car). The exact time of the transfer and pick-up point will be announced 2 weeks before the Masterclass.

10.00-11.00 Check-out and transfer to Stradella

The Workshop Includes:

Several different settings to photograph
Professional tuition
Post-processing session in Lightroom
3 nights accommodation, single room with private bathroom (check-in October 19th, check-out October 22nd)
Breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are allergic to any food please inform me upon your reservation.
Transfer from Stradella to the castle if required (30 min by car)

Price

EARLY BIRD PRICE : 1 890 EUR (workshop and accommodation in single room with private bathroom including breakfast, lunch and dinner and transfer between Milano and the castle (1 1/2 hours by car) (original price 2 090 EUR)

You can EITHER pay the full amount upon reservation or 50% as a non-refundable deposit to secure your spot and pay the remaining 50% by end of August 2023.
